Iron Horse

2006 Rosato di Sangiovese, Alexander Valley - Rose wines ($13)
A dry rosé, floral and vibrant. Notes of strawberry, quince and soft melon. Rich, ripe and showy. Medium complexity. Very appealing.
Etude

2006 Rosé of Pinot Noir, Carneros - Rose wines ($20)
A dry quaffer. Slightly gamy, with tart, red berry fruit. Lightbodied, soft and delicate. Nice red plum finish.
Fat Bastard

2006 Vin de Pays d'oc, France - Rose wines ($15)
An uncomplicated, pleasant rosé. Aromas and flavors of ripe melon, cherry, apple and raspberry. Soft texture. Nice spice.
Gran Fuedo

2006 Navarra, Spain - Rose wines ($12)
Gamy, with good acidity. Nice cherry aromas. Rich mouthfeel.
Slightly sweet. Medium complexity. Long finish.
La Crema

2006 Russian River Valley - Rose wines ($20)
Dry and lovely. Notes of rose petal, cherry and raspberry.
Showy. Medium complexity. Medium-bodied. Vibrant.
SoloRosa

2006 California - Rose wines ($15)
A dry rosé, with a nice mouth-feel. Notes of tart cherry, pomegranate, watermelon and spice. Good length.
Soter Vineyards

2006 Oregon - Rose wines ($20)
Aromas and flavors of light strawberry and tart cherry. Notes
of mineral and spice. Light-bodied.
St. Francis

2006 Sonoma County - Rose wines ($17)
A dry rosé. Floral, with notes of raspberry jam. Decent red
fruit. Soft texture, light-bodied.
Wattle Creek

2006 Yountville Highlands, Napa - Rose wines ($17)
Dry, with cherry aromas. Lovely flavors of strawberry and
watermelon. Medium-bodied. Rich, ripe and showy.
